Structures en dérive - Unraveling Structures

The Fondation Fernet-Branca presents Strutures en dérive (Unraveling Structures), an exhibition bringing together nine artists working in photography and other disciplines. Through an approach that combines documentary investigations and poetic approaches, the featured artists use photography as a method to question and reconfigure the aesthetic and social structures that surround us, transforming the medium into a field of experimentation. The exhibition invites us to consider photography as a means of learning to see the world in ever-changing ways: a world in motion that the photographic image resists as a material object.

The history of the Fondation Fernet-Branca

The Fondation Fernet-Branca, an emblematic exhibition space in the heart of Saint-Louis, is housed in a former distillery that has been renovated by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte. Established in 2003 as part of a visionary project, it is part of an exceptional cross-border cultural landscape alongside renowned Swiss and German museums. With 1,500 m² of exhibition space, the foundation showcases contemporary art in elegant, minimalist architecture that preserves the industrial character of the site. It is a must-see for art lovers.
