On September 18th, on the eve of European Heritage Days, the Fondation Fernet-Branca was delighted to inaugurate the renovation of its emblematic Eagle and façade. A memorable moment, celebrated with a large crowd who joined us for this important milestone in the preservation of our heritage.
The Eagle overlooking the Fondation Fernet-Branca is not a mere decorative element: it is a truly unique piece, a witness to the building's history and identity. Over time, the wear of the years had dulled its original shine and threatened its structural integrity, making this intervention both necessary and deeply moving.
Over several months, specialized teams worked meticulously on this restoration. Every step was carried out with the utmost care to preserve the authenticity of the piece while restoring it to its full splendor: a complete renovation of the Eagle, structural reinforcement, and the replacement of each of the glass panels making up the globe, among other work.
Alongside the work on the Eagle, the Foundation's façade also underwent a full renovation, once again revealing the architectural beauty of the building and preserving this heritage for future generations.
It was only natural to inaugurate this work on the eve of European Heritage Days, a key event for all lovers of history and culture. European Heritage Days were also marked by a strong turnout, reflecting the public's attachment to this powerful symbol of our Foundation.
We would like to warmly thank everyone who contributed to this project, as well as all the visitors who joined us for this wonderful celebration.
