Tango, Living Heritage – Immersive and Interactive Cultural Event

Discover the world of tango through a unique experience blending live music, theatricality, and dance. A professional dance couple from the Compagnie Estro Tango, a musical duo — Patricia Scrocco on violin and Michel Ludwiczak on bandoneón — and singer-actress Hélène Hardouin invite you on a sensory and poetic journey to the heart of early 20th-century Buenos Aires.

Designed as an immersive crescendo, this event alternates moments of artistic contemplation with phases of active participation:

• Awakening the Senses & Historical Narrative — a poetic text and theatrical evocation set the scene, while the first notes of violin and bandoneón accompany a dance demonstration.
• Interactive Workshop — a playful introduction to the basic steps of tango (no prior experience needed), an exploration of the instruments' roles and rhythm, and a lighthearted presentation of the codes of the Milonga, including the famous Cabeceo.
• Closing Ball — a participatory Milonga where the audience puts what they've learned into practice, followed by a final performance bringing together all five artists.

A playful, artistic, and demanding immersion into the history, codes, and poetry of tango — with a nod to another essential Argentine tradition: Fernet!
